Mutual aid, not rainbow CRAPitalism

I love me some Pride. It’s a fantastic way to feel connected to my queer community, and to stand in solidarity against anti-LGBTQ+ bullshit.

But I also can’t help but feel that June brings an overwhelming wave of rainbow CRAPitalist nonsense along with it. 

So instead of having our usual sale, I want to do it up different this year. 🧐

Instead of doing a discount this month, we’re going to put a whole 30% (!!) of $ from all our orders directly into our low-income Pay-it-Forward Program. And if you’re someone for whom even a little extra 25% off a toy could mean the difference between getting some extra love this month or going solo, let this be your invitation to sign up for our program. We’ll do our best to get toys to as many people in our community as possible. Because Pride Month isn’t about rainbow capitalism. It’s about mutual support and community showing up. If the world is fucked (and it certainly seems that way lately), our community should be well fucked as well. 🍑🌺🍆💦
