Let the Right One In (2008) This Swedish vampire flick shares a sweet romance between a young boy… and a genderqueer vampire who’s looking for their next caretaker.

Jennifer’s Body (2009) Jennifer is that one girl in high school who every boy wants, and every girl wants to be. When she’s turned into a vampire, she begins preying on her male classmates. Her best friend Needy might be the only one who can stop her… but first, Needy must work out her complicated feelings for her bestie.

Stranger by the Lake (2019) This French erotic thriller brings all the Hitchcockian vibes as it follows two men who meet at a popular cruising spot by an isolated lake and fall in love. But one of them is carrying a dangerous secret.

Bit (2019) What is it about vampires and queerness? This fun film about a trans teen girl who falls in with four queer feminist vampires explores queer identity, the complexities of power and morality, and dismantling the patriarchy.

Bodies Bodies Bodies (2022) This comedic horror about a group of twentysomethings who get stuck at a remote mansion during a storm and end up with a dead body during a party game gone wrong brings major pansexual vibes. 

I Saw the TV Glow (2024) In this film about a late-night TV show that provides a window into a supernatural world beneath our own, the teen protagonists grapple metaphorically with questions of gender identity, dysphoria, and societal expectations. 

Slay (2024) This movie is bringing From Dusk Till Dawn vibes… but with drag queens. Murderously good fun.

Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975) This queer cult classic—which still boasts annual midnight viewing filled with wild, debaucherous revelry—literally tells viewers: “Don't dream it; be it."
