How to make a sex toy.

I am so jazzed to be back in the lab again! It’s been a minute, and it feels so good to be back here, deep in the creative process, designing and prepping a brand-new toy! 

I love this part of the process. Though we’ve definitely learned a lot over the past few years, and have grown a lot as a company, prototyping the toys remains largely the same. The creative process is hands on as heck, which—as someone who has always been active in the maker community—I love.

Those of you who have been here since Cute Little Fucker’s humble beginnings might remember this video I recorded during our Kickstarter campaign on how to make a sex toy:

How do our toys come to be? In a nutshell, the team and I brainstorm ideas, which I sketch out, I create a 3D model, I 3D-print a resin mold, I prep and inject the silicone… and then I do that over and over, adjusting bit by bit, until we all love it! 

Get excited, because we’ve landed on a toy I know you’ll love, and I’ll be sharing some of the design and production process with you in the coming weeks.
