tw: issues and disability
Have I mentioned lately how amazing you are, and how amazing it is to be doing this work? I wanted to express my gratitude because it’s not always easy. But you make it worth it.
Running a business as a disabled person can be challenging. I get sick more often than the average person, and sometimes I’m ill for weeks at a time.
This means I have to press pause at the drop of a hat, take physical breaks from technology, and plan for big breaks before and after in-person events, just because they require so much energy. Sometimes, I even have to cancel those in-person events at the last minute, which makes me especially sad because being surrounded by all that positive energy can be such a boost!
But the level of intention required to keep Cute Little Fuckers running can also be really grounding, which makes me feel super grateful that I get to do this with my life.
I’m so thankful for tech tools like voice-to-text communications that make my job easier.
I’m so thankful that I have a business that allows me to prioritize my health when I need to.
I’m so thankful for you.
Sure, it can be difficult to make operational decisions when I don’t know how I’ll feel from day to day.
But the community we’ve built here, and the work we’ve done to prioritize queer pleasure, makes all of it so worth it.
Thanks for supporting me and Cute Little Fuckers. – Step
