🤘 Step’s Secret Death Metal Band 🤘

You don’t even know what’s about to hit you…

If you’ve been here awhile, you know that I created Cute Little Fuckers when health issues—including nerve damage that made it difficult to work with my hands—forced me to rethink my career path. 

But adorable monsters weren’t the only thing I was motivated to create.

While you know me as the mad scientist behind creatures like Starsi, Princette, and Trinity—hybrid monsters with the sweetest smiles—I’m also the mastermind behind a queer disabled death metal band called ELECTROMANCY that uses robotic instruments I built myself!

I love the metal community. It’s always been super inclusive, and super queer. In fact, the front man of Judas Priest—one of the greatest metal bands of all time—was gay. Everyone knew and nobody cared and THAT is the vibe of metal. 

Which has made it the perfect medium for exploring some tough emotions.

Electromancy’s first album was all about the grief I felt because of my health issues. Our newest album—Visions of Utopia—is more hopeful. In it, we share our vision of a better future for the world and for my body.
