Start slow.
Whether you want Shimmer to explore the vaginal canal or join you for anal play, there's something to be said for taking it slow.
If you or your partner are in possession of an innie/vagina, use Shimmer to tease the inner labia, eventually slipping a few inches in.
Then, dip Shimmer's tail in and out—not too far!—to build tension and arousal. When you do this, you stimulate both the urethral sponge (where the g-spot lives) and the perineal sponge, both of which are filled with nerve endings.
And if you angle Shimmer just right during these short, shallow thrusts, their shaft can also slip and slide against the clitoris.
If the butt is your destination, it still pays to take it slow. You should be relaxed back there before inserting anything, and getting turned on is a fantastic way to relax.
Start with a more subtle vibration as you glide Shimmer in circles around the anus and, when ready, slip in just the tip of their tail and pause to see how it feels. Ideally, whoever is being penetrated should have control of how deep Shimmer goes, and when.
Spread those good vibrations from the inside out.
Once you or your partner are feeling warmed up, you can let Shimmer shimmy on in even deeper. And then… just hold off on the thrusting.
I know. We're so used to the ol' in-and-out. But if you hold Shimmer inside of you while cycling through their various, vibratory speeds and rhythms, you might find your arousal building in a whole new way. That's because the vibrations will reverberate outward, stimulating either the prostate or the perineal sponge and the a-spot.
And a bonus if you're exploring your back door? Those vibrations can help relax your muscles even further.
Do your kegels.
Kegels can do more than just strengthen your pelvic floor. If you squeeze those pelvic muscles while Shimmer is inside you, you can transfer even more sensation to your clitoris, or to the nerve endings around the anus.
Target your g-spot or prostate.
If you enjoy g-spot stimulation, you're in luck. Shimmer is perfectly curved so that, when they're inside you, they can press up against that area located just a few inches inside the vagina, toward your stomach.
Shimmer's shape is similarly ideal for prostate stimulation. While the prostate can't be touched directly, you can still use Shimmer to stimulate that area through the wall of the rectum. To dial up the pleasure, try playing with your outie genitals/penis at the same time.
In both cases, positions like doggy style or spooning can make this sort of play more accessible.
And don't forget…
Lube is your friend—especially when it comes to anal play, as the anus is not self-lubricating—and you should always wash your toy or switch condoms if you're moving between orifices.
