NEW Sunshine Shimmer!

I love this toy. It’s wide enough to make me feel full yet narrow enough that as an anal beginner I need very little warming up to get going with it. The curve at the end hits some really nice places, and the ears make it really easy to hold on to while going, and make it possible to spin the toy inside of me too which I found I really liked. Plus it’s so dang cute! Maybe the cutest clf in my opinion.

Is a great toy, especially since I veer away from cock-looking insertion vibrators/dildos. The antenna/ears allowed for easier gripping while inserting inside to hit my g-spot area.

Historically I've had trouble with insertion to the point it was a miracle I could get two fingers in last year. At that time, discovered that G-spot can feel really, really good. Only one other problem: I am well on my way to developing carpal tunnel syndrome. This means I can't finger myself long enough for serious pleasure because the pain flares up and I have to stop. I thought Shimmer could help with both of my problems. She helped with neither.
Shimmer is a well-made toy. The lamprey design is really cute, and, as another reviewer mentioned, pleasantly not phallic! The fins made him easy to hold, as shown in the "Ways To Use" picture. I wish he came with care instructions, because it would have been really bad if I used castile soap on his sleek silicone body. I also wish I had the foresight to charge him before we set out to play for the first time, because the vibe died on me midway through.
Speaking of the vibe, it is strong. I cannot use Shimmer on higher speeds because 1) I'm the kind of person who doesn't even like those Homedics-type massagers, and 2) it exacerbates carpal tunnel problems. Shimmer's vibrations and shape allowed me to try forms of play I wouldn't have been able to with just my hands. They granted me to engage in something not unlike what I've heard referred to as a "pussyjob" and made humping more fun. There have had been moments where I felt magnetically attached to Shimmer's body during the former. However, the kind of play I sought out of Shimmer was not something they could grant. The dimensions of their tail, especially the fin, made insertion impossible for me even at my wettest. (Please don't make the same mistake as I did and not use lube with them. Shimmer is my first toy and the only time I've bought lube was as a gift.)
All in all, I don't dislike Shimmer. It's not her that's the problem, it's me. I still invite her on playdates sometimes. She just doesn't do what I bought her to. Here's to hoping I don't have insertion problems with the person I gifted the lube to. (They told me to put more elbow into my fun time with Shimmer.)
